Dr Anna Magdalena Kosińska

Dr. Anna Magdalena Kosińska

A graduate of History of Art at the Faculty of Humanities and Law at the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. In 2012, she defended her doctoral thesis ”Cultural human rights – normative regulations and their realization” within the scope of constitutional law. She has been working at the Rule of Law Institute Foundation since 2006, firstly, as a volunteer and intern in the project “Ewelina Milczanowska Lublin Legal Aid Center”, then, as a Specialist in Communication and Promotion at the project “Regional Network of Immigrants’ Support in Lublin” and a Coordinator of two editions of the project “Support for Voluntary Returns in Lublin Region.” She is also a member of ”Fundamental Rights Protection Program” at the Institute.

Anna Pawelec

Anna Pawelec

Graduated from the Faculty of Law at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (2007). She obtained Master’s Degree after defending her master’s thesis “Mediation in civil proceedings,” written under the supervision of prof. dr. hab. J. J. Skoczylas. In 2006, she participated in the scholarship program “Socrates-Erasmus” and studied one semester at Comenius University in Bratislava. In 2007, she obtained qualifications of a Court Mediator.

During her studies, she was an intern at the District Court of Lublin and participated in the University Legal Clinic KUL. She also had a one-month internship in the International Relations Office at KUL.

She started cooperating with the Rule of Law Institute Foundation as a volunteer in 2008.

Then, she participated in the trainee program and since November 2008, she has been employed in the project “Lawyers for Refugees III” as a legal assistant and integration adviser. She worked as a lawyer-coordinator in the project “Extension of the legal aid over persons residing in the Centre for Foreigners and the Guarded Centre and Arrest in Biała Podlaska” and then as  a coordinator of a refugee project.

Graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. Since October 2006, she has participated in the program “Street Law” organized by the Center for Advancing Legal Skills at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin and the Rule of Law Institute Foundation. In 2008, she was a volunteer in the “Ewelina Milczanowska Lublin ” at the Rule of Law Institute. She has been a coordinator of the project “Integration of Foreigners in Lublin Region III.”

Teresa Aleksandra Dębowczyk

She is a Legal adviser at the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Lublin. She has graduated from the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. She completed a course qualifying for entry on the list of mediators and judicial training in intercultural mediation. She holds the title of an economics technician specializing in finances and accounting. She also completed postgraduate studies “Preparing for the role of teachers of vocational subjects” administrative law and related subjects specialty at Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin. In 2006, she took an active part in the program of legal education targeted at high school students “Street Law” organized by FIPP and the Centre for Advancing Legal Skills at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. At the same time, as a volunteer, she gave legal advice on labor law and social security in the “Program of free legal aid” realized by FIPP. From December 2006 till December 2007, she worked as a legal assistant in the project “Lawyers for Refugees II.” Then, for more than a year, she served as a credentials clerk in the Department of Insurance and Social Security Contributions  at the Social Insurance Institution in Lublin. She has a one year experience in working as a law teacher(inter alia law, administrative, civil and labor law), and a trainer in the field of labor law and refugee law. During her legal training as an articled clerk, she worked as a lawyer in the refugee program implemented by the FIPP. From January 2013, she has been employed as a legal advisor.

Krzysztof Chrześcijanek

He graduated from the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Pedagogy with specialization in cultural management and art therapy in 2010. In 2012, he obtained a Master’s Degree in Pedagogy with specialization in cultural management and art therapy. In the academic year of 2007/2008, he was a member of the student government KUL. In 2008, he was a sales’ representative at Provident Poland. In 2010, he graduated from the program “European Capital of Culture Volunteer – Lublin 2016”. He cooperated with the Workshops of Culture in Lublin co-organizing cultural events: “Night of Culture”, “The Jagiellonian Fair” and “Carnival of conjurers.” In 2011, he worked on the election campaign of Zbigniew Targoński. From January 2011 till December 2012, he was employed as a specialist in the project “Regional Network for Immigrants’ Support in Lublin II.” From January 2013 till June 2015, he was a communication and promotion  the project “Support for Voluntary Returns in the Lublin Region II.”

Jan Klimek

Jan Klimek

He graduated from the Maria Curie – Sklodowska University in Lublin. In 2010, he completed a Bachelor’s Degree with specialization regarding enterprises in the market economy. In 2012, he obtained a Master’s Degree in Finance and Accounting. He began his cooperation with the Foundation in 2011 as a volunteer in the finance department. He performed the task a finance assistant in the Foundation’s projects: “Legal Advice Centre for Refugees,” “Support for Voluntary Returns in Lublin Region,” “Extension of the legal aid over persons residing in the Centre for Foreigners and the Guarded Centre and Arrest in Biała Podlaska,” “Regional Network of Immigrants’ Support in Lublin II,” “Monitoring of the validity and reliability of applications and decisions regarding placement of persons applying for refugee status in guarded centers and detention centres for the purpose of deportation.” He worked as a specialist in financial services in the project POKL “Free legal and civil advice in Krasnystaw, Kraśnik and Świdnik counties”.

Paulina Brzozowska

A graduate of Law at the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. From March 2007 till June 2007, she was a volunteer in the program “Help for refugees” conducted by the Volunteer Centre Association in the Centre for Foreigners in Lublin. In 2007, she took part in the project “Street Law” organized by the Rule of Law Institute Foundation. From May 2008, she was a secretary of the refugee section within the framework of the Legal Clinic activities – Refugee Law Section.

From September 2009 till December 2009, she held practice at the foundation Jugendhilfe und Sozialarbeit in Fürstenwalde in Germany. She worked as a lawyer at the Rule of Law Institute Foundation in the context of refugee projects.

He is a fifth-year student of Law with a specialization in Ukrainian law at the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. He began his cooperation with the Foundation in 2007 as a volunteer in the program “Street Law”. From January to December 2010, he was employed as a financial assistant in the projects of the Foundation: “Support for Voluntary Returns in the Lublin Region,” “Extension of the legal aid over persons residing in the Centre for Foreigners and the Guarded Centre and Arrest in Biała Podlaska,” “Integration of Foreigners in the Lublin Region,” “Regional Network of Immigrants’ Support in Lublin” and “Lawyers for Refugees”. Since January 2011 till present, he has been holding the position of the Financial Deputy Director.

Barbara Wójcik

the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. Since 2009, she has been a participant of the Refugee Section of the Legal Clinic at KUL. In the academic year of 2010/2011, she was a secretary of the section. Since 2009, she has been working as a volunteer in the Foundation. Since February 2011, she has been employed as a legal assistant in the project “Extension of the legal aid over persons residing in the Centre for Foreigners and the Guarded Centre and Arrest in Biała Podlaska”. In October 2011, she began doctoral studies at the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration at KUL. She worked as a lawyer in the project “Integration of Foreigners in the Lublin Region III”.

 

Iryna Kozak

Iryna Kozak

She graduated from the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration and of the course of American Law at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. In 2013, she began PhD studies at the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. She obtained her Master’s Degree on the basis of a thesis in the field of public international law – “Crime against humanity in the jurisprudence of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia”. From 2011 till 2012, she participated twice in the competition of Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court, and became the winner of the national round of Poland representing the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin in the international round in Washington in 2012. Since 2011, she has been working in the field of refugee law. She participates in the Department of law – Refugee Law Section of the Legal Clinic at KUL. Since 2012, she has been employed in the Refugee Program of the Foundation. Her interests include issues of international law, foreign languages, the culture of Latin America and travelling.

Yulian Hofman

Yulian Hofman

He graduated from Slavic Philology at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. In 2014, he completed a Master’s Degree in the European Studies at the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. In 2011, he held an internship at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Poland in Warsaw. Since 2013, has been working in the Rule of Law Institute Foundation, initially, as a translator within the frame of “AGD Refugee Program” funded by UNHCR, then, since January 2014, as a promotion specialist in the project „Regional Network of Immigrants’ Support in Lublin  III”. At the moment, he is an integration adviser in the project “Information Centre for Foreigners.” He is fluent in English, Russian, Ukrainian and Polish.

Małgorzata Nowakowska

She graduated from the European Studies at the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. In 2009, she took an internship at the European Parliament in Brussels. In 2012, she took a semester of studies at Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Budapest. From 2014 till 2015, she worked as a manager and an assistant of the EU projects implemented at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. Her cooperation with the Rule of Law Institute Foundation began in 2013. Initially, she worked as a volunteer and her work was related to the implementation of migration and refugees programs under the European Refugee Fund and the European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Nationals. Then, she continued cooperation and work within the framework of activities of the Institute co-financed by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund.

Sylwia Paduchowska

She graduated from the Law at the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. From 2012 till 2014, she completed legal training at the Regional Chamber of Legal Advisers in Lublin which ended in a professional examination with a positive result. Since 2008, she has been cooperating with the Rule of Law Institute Foundation, initially, through participation in the program of legal education for high school students “Street Law” and through law classes in the section of refugee law and then, working as a lawyer and coordinator of the Refugee Program.

He graduated from the European Studies at the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration and he is a fifth-year student of Law at the at the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. Since March 2015, he has been cooperating with the Rule of Law Institute Foundation. Initially, he worked as a volunteer in the projects „Integration of Foreigners in the Lublin Region III”, „Support for Voluntary Returns in the Lublin Region II”, „Regional Network of Immigrants’ Support in Lublin III” and „Lawyers for Refugees”, then, as an integration adviser in the project „Integration of Foreigners in the Lublin Region III”. He is a participant of the Refugee Law Clinic at the Rule of Law Institute Foundation.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. He started his cooperation with the Foundation from the very beginning of 2015 as an intern and then, as a lawyer. He worked in the third edition of the project „Integration of Foreigners in the Lublin Region” dealing with the support of migrants in matters concerning integration. He is a coordinator of the Ewelina Milczanowska Lublin Centre for Free Legal Counseling, and a lawyer providing advice on labor law, civil law, administrative and family law.

She graduated from the Law at the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. She has been cooperating with the Rule of Law Institute Foundation since 2011. Initially, she worked as a volunteer in the projects of the Foundation: “Lawyers for Refugees IV” and „Centre of Legal Advice for Refugees”. Then, she was employed as an integration adviser in the project „Integration of Foreigners in the Lublin Region II” and its next edition „Integration of Foreigners in the Lublin Region III”. From 2011 till 2013, she was a participant of the Refugee Section of the Legal Clinic at KUL.

Serhiy Pavlovskiy

Serhiy Pavlovskiy

He is a second-year student of a Master’s Degree in Management at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. In 2015, he graduated from Economics at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. From 2010 till 2012, he was a volunteer in the program “Omnes Gentes”. Since 2011, he has been organizing Christmas meetings for Ukrainians in Lublin. In 2014, he held a practice in the National Clearing House in Warsaw.

Olena Hryb

She is a student of the second year of the European Studies at the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. She graduated from Ukrainian Philology at the Faculty of Philology and Journalism of Kamyanets Podolsky National University of Ivan Ohienka in Ukraine. She worked as a copywriter and translator. In 2015 she was a volunteer of the Rule of Law Institute Foundation projects: „Lawyers for Refugees” and “MIGRANT! LOGIN:LUBLIN”.Her interests include foreign languages, she is fluent in Polish, English, Russian and Ukrainian, the history of European integration and refugee subjects.

Iryna Ilyashevych

A graduate of European Studies at the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration of The John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. Graduate of English Philology at the Department of Foreign Languages at Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University (Ukraine). She worked as an English teacher. With the Rule of Law Institute Foundation is connected from 2015 initially as a volunteer, and currently as an employee.

Her interests include literature, culture, religion and foreign languages.
