The fundamental goal of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Program is to provide legal and integration help to foreigner’s regardless of their status. Particularly important is the support offered to foreigners during the procedure for granting refugee status and during the legalization process and other official mat­ters as well. The ongoing AMI activities include: legal advice, in­tegration counseling, Polish language courses and trainings that are aimed at facilitating the integration process. The Institute’s team, representing various nationalities itself, puts emphasis on providing legal assistance in the language understood by migrants. The Institute provides help to other institutions that provide such assistance as well. It is an initiator of the creation of the Regional Network of Immigrants Support in Lublin and runs a Migration Library.
