Asylum, Migration, Integration

Legal Aid for Persons Fleeing Ukraine to Poland

In partnership with IOM, the Institute for the Rule of Law Foundation has been providing legal advice to people fleeing Ukraine at its office in Lublin and at reception centers in surrounding provinces since June 2022, also providing interpretation and pleadings for project beneficiaries.

The project aims to:

to provide legal advice to Ukrainians and third-country nationals who have fled Ukraine on or after February 24, 2022;
providing migration and integration counseling (labor law, social security law) to project beneficiaries and drafting pleadings as needed;
receipt by project beneficiaries of information on their rights and obligations in Poland, as well as on social, educational and medical services.

Services are provided in English, Polish, Russian and Ukrainian, and are translated into Arabic and Kurdish by professional translators.

Project duration: June 2022 – December 2022

The project is funded entirely by IOM ( International Organization for Migration).
