Lublin Coalition for Integration

Information Center for Foreigners is run within the project Lublin Coalition for Integration co-financed by the National Program of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund and the state budget. The project is implemented by the Province Governor of Lublin  in partnership with the Rule of Law Institute Foundation and the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.

The main activities of the project:

  1. Legal counseling  within which we provide free, professional legal assistance connected with the legalization of staying in Poland,
  2. Guiding on legal procedures which involves practical aspects of the procedures of the legalization of stay in Poland,
  3. Integration counseling aims to provide free, professional legal assistance about the rights and duties of the foreigners in Poland, especially the labour law,
  4. Guiding on integration procedures which includes providing information to migrants, which bodies should turn to with specific problems, as well as assistance in preparing letters and support in the integration process,
  5. Seminars for foreigners conducted in two thematic series of 16 seminars per year. The first series will deal with the legalization of stay and the rights and obligations of foreigners, while the second series will deal with foreigners taking up employment, legality of employment and setting up a business,
  6. Partnership Program Login:Lublin consists of gathering a database of bussines partners and negotiating discounts and bonuses for foreigners participating in the project and holding a Login:Lublin card,
  7. The Migration Library is unique in the region and country, as the Library’s collections count approximately 2000 publications in various languages ​​and are available to all interested.

Legal counseling

As a part of Lublin Coalition for Integration project, we provide Information Center for Foreigners, which main activities are:

  1. Legal counseling  within which we provide free, professional legal assistance connected with the legalization of staying in Poland,
  2. Guiding on legal procedures which involves practical aspects of the procedures of the legalization of stay in Poland,
  3. Integration counseling aims to provide free, professional legal assistance about the rights and duties of the foreigners in Poland, especially the labour law,
  4. Guiding on integration procedures which includes providing information to migrants, which authorities should turn to with specific problems, as well as assistance in preparing letters and support in the integration process.

The Information Center for Foreigners works from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am till 4:00 pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:00 am until 6:00 pm.

Seminars

Seminars for foreigners are conducted in two thematic series of 16 seminars per year. The first thematic series is addressed mainly to newly arrived foreigners and concerns the legalization of stay and the rights and obligations of foreigners in Poland. On the other hand, the subject of the second thematic series concerns employment of foreigners, legality of employment and setting up a business. These activities are aimed at raising the legal and social awareness of foreigners, which will have a positive impact on the integration process, as well as the process of accepting foreigners by Polish society.

Login:Lublin

Partner Program Login:Lublin is the next part of the Lublin Coalition for Integration project. In order to improve the  quality of life in Lublin, we give out the Login:Lublin cards, thanks to which foreigners can take advantages of discounts, special offers and promotions from our Partners (cafes, bookstores, restaurants, real estate agencies, etc). We cooperate with over than 60 partners, and each of them offers special discounts for cardholders.

All news about our new Partners are available on our fan pages Facebook, VK and www.loginlublin.pl. If you are interested in becoming our Partner, please contact us at loginlublin@panstwoprawa.org.

Login:Lublin cards are dedicated to third-country nationals living in Lublin. Thanks to those cards, foreigners will receive different discounts from our partners. By using those special offers, we encourage foreigners to visit restaurants,and shops throughout Lublin. If you are interested in obtaining the Login:Lublin card, we encourage you to contact us via email loginlublin@panstwoprawa.org or check our website at www.loginlublin.pl.

 

Migration Library

The Migration Library is not only a collection of publications, but it’s also a reading room, a conference room and a meeting place. The Library collection contains around 2000 books in different languages. The publications mainly concern migration problems, European Union Law, Human Rights, Polish Law, culture and history. Library resources are available to everyone. The only condition is to sign a free reader card. Books can be borrowed or used at the library. The library is available during working hours: from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 16:00.

PARTNERS

Project Lublin Coalition for Integration is co-financed by the National Program of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund and the state budget.  The implementation of the project began on the 1st July 2018, the project will be implemented until the 30th June 2020. The total budget of the project is PLN 2 960 997.05. The contribution from the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund is PLN 2 220 747.79.

The project is implemented under the leadership of the Lublin Voivode in cooperation with the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.
