We are pleased to announce that from January 2013, The Rule of Law Institute Foundation launched the project “Support for Voluntary Returns in Lublin Region II”, co-financed by the European Return Fund and the state. The project is addressed to institutions from the region which work with foreigners.
This project is a continuation, development and professionalization of the project “Support for Voluntary Returns in Lublin Region” 1st Edition, which was implemented on 1 January 2010. The project aims to continue and develop the work of the Co-operation Platform for institutions and people involved in the implementation of voluntary returns in Lublin region, which may promote voluntary returns in migrant communities.
The project involves institutional support for those involved in the platform by organizing a series of seminars to enable consultation and training in the field of migration law, human rights and migration issues in general. The objectives of the project iclude: creation of communication tools such as a newsletter, mailing list and tab at the website as well co-creation of available to general public Migration Library where essential literature in the field of migration can be found. A summary of the project will take place during a conference. These activities will help to strengthen the institutional capacity of organizations implementing voluntary returns and promoting voluntary returns.
The project is also indirectly aimed at foreigners. Future plans involve the creation a tab on the website with information on the principles of voluntary returns both in Russian and English and distribution of brochures in migrant communities and centers for foreigners. The project aims to establishment contacts with migrant organizations.
The beneficiaries of the project will be those involved in the implementation of voluntary returns and those receiving handouts and using the website – foreigners.
The project will be launched on 1 January 2013 and will last till 30 June 2015.
