Restrictions on the entry of foreigners into Poland – from March 15, 2020
Exceptions to the above restrictions are for:
- Polish citizens
- foreigners who are spouses or children of Polish citizens or depend on them (under constant care)
- permanent or temporary residence permit holders
- Pole’s Card holders
- persons with a diplomatic degree and their family members in Poland
- holders of the right to work in Poland on the same terms as Polish citizens and holders of work permits, seasonal work permits, declarations of intention to entrust work to a foreigner on Polish territory
- operators of means of transport which is used to transport goods
- justified cases other than above: consent of the Chief Commander of the Border Guard on the basis of Act on Foreigners from December 12, 2013 (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 35)
However, please remember that every person crossing the border will be subjected to sanitary control (temperature measurement) and will be registered. In addition, each person crossing the border will be informed about the obligation to undergo a 14-day quarantine except for: persons residing in Poland and working in a neighboring country who regularly cross the border, persons residing in a neighboring country and working in Poland who regularly cross the border and drivers of freight transport.
