The Polish language state certificate examinations as a foreign language
The Polish Language and Culture Centre for Polish People from Abroad and Foreigners UMCS organizes the Polish language state certificate examinations. If you are a foreigner or a Polish citizen permanently living abroad, this offer is directed to you. You have the opportunity to pass the exam and receive a certificate proving the knowledge of a language that will be useful when applying for Polish citizenship, long-term resident stay, at the university, as well as at work. Registration of candidates lasts until October 10, 2018. Make sure not to miss the deadline.

One year preparatory course of Polish language for higher education in Poland
The Polish Language and Culture Centre for Polish People from Abroad and Foreigners UMCS organizes a one-year Polish language course, which is intended for Poles living abroad and foreigners in Poland. The Centre offers the Polish language course for beginners and prepares students for studies in Poland. Those who know Polish have a chance to get more advanced degree. Recruitment for the course is conducted at the secretariat of the Polish Language and Culture Centre for Polish People from Abroad and Foreigners . The Polish language course is organized during the school year but it is possible to organize a course adapted to individual needs (shorter or longer).

Postgraduate qualification studies in teaching Polish as a foreign language
The aim of these studies, organized by the Polish Language and Culture Centre for Polish People from Abroad and Foreigners UMCS, is professional preparation for teaching Polish as a foreign language, both in domestic institutions teaching foreigners and in schools of all types and levels outside of Poland, with particular emphasis on the faculties of Slavic studies and Polish philology at foreign universities. The studies are intended mainly for graduates of philological studies and graduates of other fields who have teaching qualifications. The deadline for the launch of the next edition is October 2018. The required documents can be submitted by 30 September 2018 at the Polish Language and Culture Centre for Polish People from Abroad and Foreigners UMCS on 18 Weteranów St., Lublin.
